Member-companies find within UCT both services and support which allow them constant updating and able to compete with other companies on the market effectively. UCT, and its members consequently, belongs - through ANIMA - to Confindustria system and, as such, can avail of representation at authorities and several conventions and services. The Association - through ANIMA Federation - is able to carry out a significant lobby action both in Italy and in Europe. UCT Secretariat: • is committed to manufacturers and is mainly aimed at looking through and solving specific trade problems and safeguard interests of the sector from the economic, technical and legal point of view. • grants to its members a full set of information as far as their activity is concerned and has a main role - through its delegates - in the drawing up of international technical standards, by participating in the works of ISO TC TC192 Gas Turbine , ISO TC 208 Thermal turbines for industrial application (steam turbines, gas expansion turbines) and ISO TC 108 Mechanical vibration and shock • organizes collective participation in trade exhibitions in Italy and abroad, in cooperation with ICE as well, and promotes meetings between producers, consumers and customers. • promotes development knowledge and circulation of technical standards in order to foster and improve the quality of products in different sectors, without neglecting relations with national and international press and carrying out periodical statistical surveys and researches on trade politics with well-known effects on politics. • carries out statistical surveys of tariffs for services of both workers and technicians and arranges round tables on technical and economic problems of main interest for member-companies. • assistance in certification field which acquires effectiveness through the good relationships with different bodies of certification. |
